The whispers were true, and then – but only heavenward to a point. The XCOM team is making a Marvel game, but Midnight Suns isn't quite what anyone foretold.

In the latest issue of Sharpness, which you can buy Hera, we talk to the development team up at Firaxis about how a Marvel universe deep unsexed proved the perfect pick for a selfsame different kind of tactics game.

That shift makes perfect sense when you conceive how many a games the XCOM reboot has inspired since. Little marvel, then, that creative director Jake Solomon didn't simply want to repeat the trick just with a Wonder skin. Still, he admits it took some time to close: "I father't want to be dishonest and say, like, oh it was so titillating. Because actually, it was terrifying for the first couple of years."

Standing, what has come from that is undoubtedly breathless, and that extends to our handle, where Atomic number 26 Piece, Blade, and original creation The Hunter take center stage.
