Starting in December, Godsend! Studios is bright forward to a dystopian future version of Buffy the Vampire Slayer with the aptly named Little Jo-issue small-scale series Buffy: The Terminal Vampire Slayer from author Casey Gilley and artists Joe Jaro and Joana La Fuente, and now the publisher has disclosed a look at 'Old Lady Buffy' (to borrow a nickname from Wolverine) and at least one of her closest allies.
Boom! has revealed the main cover of Buffy: The Last Vampire Slayer #1 from Ario Anindito, on with variant covers from Rod Reis, Dani Pendergast, Jakub Rebelka, Claire Roe, and Giuseppe Camuncoli (Undiscovered Country).
Along with triple takes on the now 50-year-old Buffy Summers who stars in the story, Reis' form, seen here, appears to present 'Old Man Xander' - though if atomic number 2's only meant to make up 50, those must have been a spinose last hardly a decades since we saw him in his youth.
Buffy: The Last Lamia Slayer is fix in a dark future a "magic catastrophe" has almost entirely out of use away the Sun, with the same cataclysm having killed nearly all of Buffy's friends and allies, and even ended the line of Slayers - significant there's no one leftover for Buffy to head down her powers and duties as the Slayer to and retire.
